We're looking for an Android Security Engineer to help build and evolve Promon's runtime protection for Android apps. You'll be part of a focused, collaborative team designing and implementing cutting-edge security features that defend apps against real-world threats.This is a great opportunity to apply your skills while diving deeper into security-focused problem solving. If you're curious about how things work under the hood---and how to keep them safe---we'd love to hear from you. Your responsibilities will include:Design, develop, and maintain our runtime protection solution for Android applicationsResearch and implement protection algorithms that guard against tampering, reverse engineering, and other attacksWork in close collaboration with teammates to evolve our security platform in line with OS changes and new threats Must-have skills and experience:Strong C++ development experienceFamiliarity with Git and Linux development environmentsExperience with Java and JNIBackground in Android development or Embedded LinuxBonus points for experience with:Kotlin and PythonLinux Kernel internalsAssembly programming (ARM/x86)Security-related interests (e.g., Capture the Flag events, app reverse engineering, binary analysis)You'll thrive in this role if you:Are passionate about low-level development and system internalsEnjoy digging deep into technical challenges and learning how things really workHave a strong interest in security or curiosity about how to break and protect appsAre comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative teamEducation: * Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Security---or equivalent experience through work or personal projects
