• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and create purchasing strategies for infrastructure and construction projects.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Utilise procurement and purchasing systems like SAP to streamline processes and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a strong supplier base.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to maximise value while adhering to company policies and regulations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement activities with project time lines.

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Buyer in the infrastructure or construction industry.
• Proficient in Norwegian or Swedish language to effectively communicate with local suppliers and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge and experience using procurement/purchasing systems like SAP or similar tools.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost-effective deals without compromising quality.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills to assess supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
• A proactive and self-driven attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
