Our extensive experience in this demanding sector, transfer of proven technologies and the development of automated solutions are supporting the progression of wind energy with a continuing focus on safety, reliability and optimum performance.We are now looking for Installation & Commissioning Engineers (SW) to join MacGregor's Equipment and Solutions Division. The purpose of the position is to execute test, onboard installation, commissioning and warranty, towards the offshore wind market. This position reports to the Program Manager Installation & Commissioning , located in Kristiansand. Our new Installation & Commissioning Engineer can be located in one of the following destinations; Kristiansand, Arendal or Bergen, Norway. This opening is a travel position and therefore involves extensive travel activity worldwide to perform commissioning, however you might be assigned to work at the office if needed.Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Execute FAT on production sites according to the baseline plan
- Execute installation HAT/SAT activities on site accordingly to the baseline plan
- Perform and document daily Tool Box Talk on site
- Perform and document Safe Job Analysis on site
- Participate in demobilization lessons learned when required
- Registration of improvement proposals, deviations and HSE
- Support the site personnel remotely when required, including online remote troubleshooting
- Improve routines, establish and maintain procedures
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Automation, Mechatronics, Control systems or equivalent
- Previous experience with Siemens drives or/and TIA Portal is acquired
- Practical experience from commissioning of offshore, ship or rig related equipment is preferred
- Cooperativeness, technical skills and customer orientation
- Good technical English, spoken and written
