Senior/Principal engineer instrumentation - Bergen Job Responsibilities

Detailed design of instrumentation tasks.
Participate in studies.
Estimate instrumentation tasks.
Prepare job packages and follow up on deliveries.
Discipline check of design basis (studies, drawings, and job packages).
Follow up with suppliers, package responsibility.
Participate in pre-test/FAT at the supplier.
Participate in inspections onshore/offshore.
Able to take on training responsibilities for new engineers.
Perform as built.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Automation Hardware.
Alternatively , a Technical College degree with extensive experience (min 10-12+ years) in Engineering projects on the Norwegian Oil and Gas industry

Required Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of experience in offshore-related projects from NCS.
Strong experience in engineering design.
Good knowledge of standards such as ATEX, Norsok, Equinor TR (Technical Requirements), STID, ProCoSys, ARIS.
Extensive knowledge of modifications on operational offshore installations (VEM/M&M).
Strong knowledge of instrumentation used in the oil industry.
Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems.

Required courses and certificates:

Valid offshore and health certificate
Basic EX courses - Minimum 6-8 hrs online or 22.5 hrs classroom courses
FSE high and low voltage with first aid
