Job Category: Product DevelopmentJob Description:We are strengthening our engineering team with a skilled, flexible, and structured colleague who brings a multidisciplinary understanding to the table and wants to contribute to groundbreaking crane projects.You will take ownership of our lattice boom crane product line, managing and further developing this world-leading solution. You'll work closely with engineering disciplines, procurement, production support, sales, and product line management. Your efforts will be central to delivering and optimizing products for both national and international projects.Our motto is “We lift together!” - a reflection of the great working environment and supportive culture we have at NOV. You will be working on the development of fully electric offshore cranes with groundbreaking technology. With a high volume of incoming orders and exciting projects, you'll have the opportunity to grow and influence products of significant market impact.Main Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Ownership and development of lattice boom cranes in collaboration with technical disciplines, procurement, production support, sales, and product line management
  • Stay updated on relevant technological advancements and regulatory requirements
  • Cost control for products within your portfolio
  • Participate in bid planning and evaluation with the sales team, with responsibility for engineering budget and technical sales documentation
  • Ensure delivery of equipment, as well as standard product and project documentation
  • Ensure compliance with product-related HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements and encourage HSE best practices
  • Provide engineering support to both internal and external customers
Desired Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
  • Multidisciplinary understanding and engineering experience from offshore, maritime, or land-based industries involving machinery or equipment packages
  • Engineering tools: Experience with AutoCAD/Inventor is an advantage
