You will leverage data-driven insights to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure the seamless flow of goods from procurement to delivery. This position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on our operational excellence and strategic growth. You will collaborate closely with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.Additionally, you will be tasked with analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to optimize processes, and maintaining accurate records of logistics activities. You will be part of our larger supply chain team comprising 15 individuals on site.   • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory, production, transportation, and vendor relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and optimize inventory holding to minimize costs and ensure product availability.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency within the supply chain.
  • Prepare reports on supply chain performance, communicate findings to stakeholders, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business goals.
  • Identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in logistics management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools is essential. This includes:
  • Advanced excel skills like pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and potentially macros are often required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain management software, data analysis tools, and relevant computer applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve complex supply chain issues.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management systems. Preferable Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
