Subsea Material Engineer

• Subsea Material Engineer within theSubsea Alliance, covering SPS & SURF scope of work
• The role is part of the technical client team reporting to the Engineering Manager
• The role is responsible for follow-up ofmaterial selection process
• Ensure lessons learned and operationalexperience are implemented in the design
• Provide technical advice about thesuitability of specified and alternative design, solutions and materials
• Review relevant materials and fabricationdocumentation
• Ensure compliance in fabrication to the client own requirements, regulatory requirements and project specifications andrelevant industry and international standards
• Contribute to project risk assessmentreviews and evaluation on the client involvement strategy
• Assist on ITP reviews, give input ontechnical requirements and attendance level for the client
• Contributeto fulfilment of the ‘’see to it’’ duty as responsible for the client Quality Control in the SSA, ref. BMS32-001466
• Perform required ITP activities,coordinate with Quality Lead
• Advice on relevant TQ’s, NCR’s and CR’s.Involve and coordinate with relevant client TA.
• Participate in kick-off meetings,pre-production meetings and other production meetings from suppliers asrequired.
• Attend design verifications from a systemperspective as required (e.g. CARA, HAZOP, HAZID)
• Involve, assist and communicate with the client fabrication representatives
• Be anactive driver towards the SSA values
