- A thorough knowledge and understanding of tender and project execution and the interlink between technical disciplines, the engineering sequence, procurement, and planning.
- Commercial mindset to be able to develop a attractive proposal fit for client needs, and challenge internally
- Good communication skills to be able to present and discuss conceptual alternatives internally and towards clients and contribute to a continuous improvement culture to maintain delivery of value at the fore front of tender and project execution and secure efficiency on project allocations.
- Co-ordinate and collaborate with other members of the Engineering Management Group and departments within NOV, such as BD, sales, and Life Cycle Services to further the value offering of NOV Process Systems
- In addition to your technical skills, you should take ownership and proactively follow up the tender and projects you are responsible for.
- Maximize the tender winning chances by continuously working with BD&S, technology team, procurement, engineering, and management to optimize technical tender solutions and concept from handover from BD&S to submission.
- Have a degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, preferably Process or Mechanical Engineering, with 7-12 years' proven experience in a similar role / level of responsibility managing multidiscipline engineering teams in EPC projects.
- Strong familiarity with the interfaces between engineering, procurement and fabrication of process/utility/topside modules and skids that consist of rotating & static equipment, piping, valves, instrumentation, and ancillary equipment.
- You enjoy managing the technical side of a tender and project and solving detailed engineering problems, making prioritization as you go. You need certain amount of creativity and as Frontend Development Manager you can make informed decisions in sometimes changing and/or uncertain situations.
- You should be organized and be able identify priorities and key activities to meet both technical and commercial milestones, having a good commercial understanding is beneficial.
