Join Sportradar’s Audiovisual engineering team and use your Go skills to power unforgettable moments in the NBA, ATP, and beyond. Based in Trondheim, we build the platform behind 1500+ live matches daily, ensuring high availability, observability, and clean, testable code.THE CHALLENGE:
- Write production software in Go to handle live video flows.
- Participate in Code Reviews and writing tests – we are a quality-focused company.
- Contribute to developing new solutions, sharing your ideas and opinions, and implementing them.
- Join a small impactful team with some very interesting technical challenges.
- Experience writing testable software in Go.
- A problem-solving attitude, i.e. not just focused on writing code, but on tackling complex problems and determining how best to solve them.
- Understanding of software architecture principles.
- Clear communication in English.
- Willingness to learn new technologies
- Positive, team player with a can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services.
- Experience with Kafka.
- Familiarity with API development.
- Some C++ knowledge.
- Familiarity with streaming protocols like SRT, HLS or DASH.
- Familiarity with AI models like LLM’s or Computer Vision.
- Willingness to practice TDD and pair programming.
- Proactively identify improvement areas and propose changes with clear benefits to the team.
