You are a professional who combines meticulous attention to detail with the "big picture" thinking required to win in a competitive SaaS environment.As our new Bid Manager, you will be the strategic engine behind Mercell’s success in competitive procurements across Northern Europe. This is not just about "filling in forms", it’s about winning hearts and create true value for our clients. You will influence how our product is positioned, ensure our technology stands out in high-stakes tenders, and lead the charge in demonstrating why Mercell is the partner of choice for the public sector.An important priority for our Bid Managers is to:Leverage AI for excellence: Harness the power of AI-driven tools to optimise bid content, increase accuracy, and streamline the response lifecycle, ensuring our proposals are as innovative as the software we build.Compelling storytelling: Step into the spotlight to deliver high-impact, customer-facing presentations. You will translate complex SaaS functionality into vision-led product demonstrations that resonate with public sector stakeholders.Core ResponsibilitiesOwn the lifecycle:Drive and lead the full bid management process, utilising exceptional project leadership to ensure every submission is high-quality, on time, and persuasive.Cross-functional collaboration:Partner closely with Sales, Product, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure our responses are robust, compliant, and commercially sharp.Strategic positioning:Develop bid strategies that align with Mercell’s growth goals and navigate the specific regulatory landscapes of your target markets.Data-driven accuracy:Maintain meticulous records, communication logs, and pricing models to ensure our bids are as auditable as they are innovative.SaaS evangelism:Act as a compelling presenter, emphasizing the business value and unique differentiators of our platform during solution demonstrations.Required QualificationsProven experience (ideally 4+ years) delivering high-quality public bids (B2G) within the SaaS or tech industry.A deep understanding of tender management processes and public procurement regulations.Fluency in English (written and spoken), alongside proficiency in Norwegian and/or Swedish.A demonstrated ability to own complex, high-stakes deliverables from inception to completion with "flawless execution" as your baseline.Preferred QualificationsThe ability to execute at pace in an evolving, fast-moving environment.A self-starter mentality with a genuine interest in solving the unique challenges faced by the public sector.Start date: As soon as possible
