- Collaborating with cross-functional value stream teams to extract and deliver data products that support both internal needs and customer-facing solutions
- Working closely with data scientists and analysts to develop new products, improve existing ones, and deploy models into production using MLOps best practices
- Building and maintaining robust data pipelines that enable scalable analytics and high-quality data products
- Developing platform capabilities that help product teams perform analytics faster and more effectively
- Guiding and supporting other technical teams in adopting modern data practices, migrating sources, and implementing pipelines
- Contributing to a strong data culture at Coop by promoting best practices and empowering teams to become more data-driven

- You have experience writing data pipelines, implementing data-driven services, and working with data integration patterns
- You are familiar with different database technologies (relational, document, graph, time series, key-value)
- You have experience delivering data for ML training and prediction pipelines
- You have experience with data modelling (we use BigQuery is our Gold Layer)
- You understand distributed data architectures and patterns
- You are comfortable with DevOps, CI/CD, cloud solutions (we use GCP and Azure), and container-based workflows
- You embrace a DevSecOps mindset
- You take initiative, propose improvements, and contribute to shaping better ways of working, architecture, and collaboration
- You have 3-10 years of experience in data engineering, using modern tools and technologies
- You have an educational background in IT or computer science (relevant experience can compensate for formal education)
- You communicate well in English (Norwegian is a plus)
