You will join and lead a team of software engineers and experts, that together create one of the world's leading solutions for autonomous marine exploration and monitoring.
Working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is vital to develop robust and scalable software solutions, following the process all the way from newly hatched ideas to finished market products.
On a day-to-day basis you will be included in the software management team, involved in managing the team members, coordinating tasks and activities within the team, and as part of the whole software group. Contribution to software system design, specification, development, implementation, and test is to be expected.
You will have the opportunity to join our operators on sea trials in the Oslo fjord to better understand customer needs, while testing and exploring new developments.What we offer:

- A master's degree in cybernetics, computer engineering, computer science or similar - experience can compensate for a degree.
- Experience in leading software development and managing development teams.
- C++ programming experience. Knowledge of modern C++ is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in the English language, both spoken and written.
- It is beneficial with experience within one or more of the following areas: control theory, inertial navigation systems, motion planning and control, sensor fusion, situational awareness.
