StillingsopplysningerFP&A Director for the Public segment in Visma GroupOne of the critical pillars of Visma's success over the past 20 years has been tight financial control. The finance function in Visma consists of controllers at many levels of the organisation, who guard our reporting regime with professional integrity so that our financial figures are correct, timely, and usable. Going beyond the basic financials, this function maintains and improves datasets from financial statements, invoicing data, customer data and market data. This allows us to calculate the potential outcomes of our strategic choices, and is our bullshit filter for our strategic and tactical decisionsThe Visma group's public segment is currently responsible for about 700M EUR in revenue in Northern Europe and delivers mission-critical software to local governments.The FP&A Director will join the segment team as a close strategic sparring partner for the segment director and advisor to the core segment leadership team. This role will also work closely with the finance function across Visma.The Segment FP&A director will report to the Segment Director, with a dotted line to the group FP&A function.Main task and responsibilitiesThe basics: Ensure the segment management team has consistent, timely, and reliable data to
guide the segment towards our financial goals. Ensure forecasting accuracy and challenge financial
performanceGetting dirty: Deliver the annual budget, the monthly management reports, and work with our
boards to highlight improvementsDevelop: Look outside of Visma to peers, acquisition candidates, and analysts to coach the
management team in improving our strategy at the segment and business unit levelsBusiness Partner: Be a trusted business partner to the segment director in showcasing the value
creation of the segment through facts and dataKey stakeholdersSegment management team: Correct and timely reporting, budgets, and strategic analysisBusiness units: Proactively engage with the business units in the segment to uncover and respond
to underlying trends. Assist finance directors for the business units in understanding key metrics,
how to present them to their boards, and how they affect the financial forecastsVisma finance function: Work closely with the group FP&A function to ensure common
understanding of definitions, zero duplication of work, and joint improvements to our reporting
stackSupport the segment director in reporting and presenting to the Board of the Visma GroupQualifications and personal attributesThe groundwork​Master's degree in economics, finance, or a similar fieldA minimum of five years of relevant experienceKeen interest and skills in IT-systems and analytical toolsExcellent communication skills, with English fluency, written and oralFoundationStrong commercial acumenAbility to identify underlying trends in KPIs and financial data and recommend actions to improve
performanceBasic knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/Local GAAP)Software market and product knowledgePassionPassion for technology and knowledge of software development processesFundamental understanding of customers, market drivers, pricing models, competitive landscape
and products in the software industryFundamental understanding of how metrics and key performance indicators enhance and support
