Vard Electro AS is looking for a Bid Manager to increase the capacity and competence in support for sales. We are looking for a candidate with background from maritime electrical systems. The main responsibility for the Bid Manager is to build a competitive bid based on our SeaQ solutions. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated professional to join our sales team and help us maintain our track record of success. The Primary role/function is to prepare and/or review the cost estimates and offers for the sales projects within given time frame.
Generate and/or collect technical specifications and obtain necessary approvals.
Drive the bid submission process (compile, edit and proofread), crafting persuasive and detailed proposals.
Conducting handover towards the organization once bids have been secured.

Qualifications

Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, materials, and costs.
Experience in maritime electrical systems
Good software skills (Office, CRM, CAD, etc.)
Good English and Norwegian language skills, both written and oral.
