- Be responsible, in coordination with the Services function (Delivery Manager and Project Manager), for interacting with customers to define, produce and maintain optimal design based on customer needs and solution capabilities.
- Facilitate requirements, design and solutions workshops that capture functional and non-functional requirements from the client, and you will own the design deliverables (Statement of Work, Architecture documents), ensure traceability of requirements with solutions proposed.
- Be responsible for the communication and enforcement of Design to Customer and Key Project Stakeholders.
- Manage involvement of other SMEs (e.g. business analysts, IT / Cybersecurity experts) and make sure their design contributions meet system architecture functional and non-functional requirements
- Drive excellence in execution through continuous improvement in their segment or domain (best practices and reference material - reference architectures, reference solutions)
- Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering (Return on Experience, product enhancements, reference architectures)
- Build technical expertise in the field of their segment or domain. Deliver technical consultancy services on demand
- Coordinate knowledge capitalization and dissemination across the Services & Solution Design teams,
- Be accountable for activities planning, progress reporting, and completing activities in his scope as per approved budget.
- Previous experience as Solution Architect in a similar domain with strong requirements in term of performance (Real-time monitoring and control systems), availability (24/7) and Cybersecurity (mission-critical systems)
- Cloud architecture experience (AWS & Azure), experience of cloud and cloud native technologies such as containers and Kubernetes,
- Strong understanding of microservices design principles, including RESTful services and API development.
- Experience on systems deployed on on-prem / virtualized environments (Windows, Linux, VMWare)
- Exposure to iterative product development and program management techniques including Agile, Safe, Scrum, DevOps…
- Strong awareness of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations, particularly as they relate to critical infrastructure
- Proficiency in various architecture patterns, such as microservices architecture, event-driven architecture. Experience in selecting and implementing appropriate architecture patterns to meet specific business and technical requirements
- Understanding of Enterprise architecture framework such as TOGAF, and the ability to apply them in designing and evaluating enterprise architecture solutions
- Professional English level.
- Energy sector / Electric utility Industry domain knowledge,
- Experience with OT/SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling industrial processes
- Knowledge of emerging energy industry trends and implications on utility customers (Renewables and DER orchestration, distribution planning, IT, SCADA)
- Experience in Services – Software Commissioning in OT industry
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Business-oriented mindset with technical literacy.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
