Experts and apprentices who care, work together, and drive us forward!OneSubsea is a world-leading provider of subsea technology that enables the utilization of our resources and accelerates the transition to a more sustainable future.We are now looking for a Electrical Engineer Power Cable s who wants to strengthen our Umbilical & Cable Systems team at Lysaker and be a part of the exciting journey that has just started.What will you be doing?You will lead the technical delivery of subsea power cable projects, including Direct Electrical Heating (DEH) systems, ensuring robust design, reliable operation, and successful project execution. You will:Define the overall system architecture, including cables, hardware, and topside power supply and control systemsSupport and execute Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies and contribute to business development activitiesLead the engineering and technical coordination of projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications, operator requirements, and international standardsPerform feasibility analyses for electrical systems, including power requirements, operating voltage, current limits, temperature envelopes along pipelines, and grounding/interference assessmentsDevelop engineering specifications and follow up on manufacturing activities for cables and associated hardwareSupport troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system faultsProvide technical support during offshore cable installation and testingIdentify improvement opportunities and contribute to a culture of continuous improvementEstablish verification test programs and provide technical support during test executionWe are looking for candidates who:Want to work with industry-leading subsea technology and contribute to creating a sustainable energy futureLike exciting challenges and a meaningful everyday life in a company that helps you expand your frontiersHave the following professional background and experience:MSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent professional experience)In-depth knowledge of Power Cable and Direct Electrical Heating (DEH) systems, with the ability to perform overall analysesMinimum 10 years' experience with subsea power projects and applicationsBring a strong commercial focus and continuous improvement mindsetDemonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationshipsCan manage multiple priorities effectively, both independently and as part of a teamAre committed to delivering high-quality work aligned with project plansWith us, you will experience:Colleagues who like to create solutions and achieve success togetherA workday that you can influenceBeing part of an international group with clear ambitions and an appreciation for initiative and innovationVaried tasks across different customers and projects, giving you a dynamic and challenging everyday lifeGood development opportunities where you can grow in several directions within the companyCompetitive conditions and a work environment that promotes innovation and collaborationInterested?
