Job Category: ConsultantJob Description:Maritime Advisory is an Independent Unit (IU) within DNV Maritime and employs around 300 consultants and engineers who support customers in the maritime industry globally in their efforts to make the right decisions to achieve sustainable operations and profitable results.The Shipping Advisory section consists of thirteen professionals, all located at Høvik, Norway and have a good mix of gender and age.Typical tasks as a summer student in Shipping Advisory would be:

Contribute to client projects and internal development projects with data gathering and analysis
Market analysis, AIS-analysis and similar
Poseidon Principles reporting
Miscellaneous support to projects and teamwork tasks

A summer job in Shipping Advisory at our head office in Høvik (outside Oslo) will consist of teamwork on specific tasks guided by our senior consultants. Qualifications:Who are we looking for?We are primarily seeking 3rd and 4th year students with relevant Bachelor/Master Program specialization in:

Naval Architechture
Industrial Economics
Computer Science / Information Science
