Position Overview:My client is looking for a talented AWS Cloud Security Architect who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures across their cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, security best practices, and compliance standards to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive security architectures for AWS cloud environments, considering factors such as data protection, identity management, network security, and access controls.
Implement security controls and monitoring solutions to detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify risks and gaps in existing cloud deployments, and recommend remediation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into cloud architecture designs and development processes.
Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security-related matters, including incident response, encryption, and key management.
Qualifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or other relevant certifications.
Extensive experience designing and implementing security solutions for AWS cloud environments, including IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, and CloudTrail.
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, CIS, and GDPR.
Strong understanding of networking protocols, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
Proven track record of leading security initiatives and driving adoption of security best practices within an organization.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
