- You must have completed a doctoral degree in urban water systems engineering or related fields
- A strong publication track record with publications in relevant research areas in credible journals and conferences
- Knowledge and relevant project experience with the modelling of urban water systems
- Experience with Python for advanced programming, both design and planning, as well as programming. Additional programming language (e.g. C++, VB) is a plus
- Experience in working on research projects on a national and European level
- Good oral and written presentation skills in English equivalent level
- Motivation and willingness for interdisciplinary research and teaching
- Experience with water infrastructure modelling with a focus on computational methods
- A strong link to the topic interdependence and cascading effects in Urban infrastructure Systems.
- A strong background in systems thinking, analysis and modelling
- Experience in teaching and supervision in higher education at least on MSc level
- Knowledge of graph theoretical approaches and graph signal processing
- Experience with data management including computational techniques for data quality control, data imputation, data models, data sharing and metadata
- Used to interdisciplinary work and strong communication and organizational skills
- Good oral and written presentation skills in Norwegian/Scandinavian
