- Act as a trusted and proactive financial advisor to the business, helping to steer financial decisions and enhance performance.
- Represent Finance in cross-functional projects and management groups, ensuring that financial perspectives are integrated into business strategies.
- Analyze and track the development of strategic and operational initiatives, providing insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Drive and deliver monthly reporting, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning, ensuring high-quality financial steering information.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, perform revenue and cost controlling, and assess profitability and key financial drivers. Provide real-time financial analysis, offering insights and other ad-hoc financial inquiries to management that guide business decisions and drive profitability.
- Proactively engage with senior stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication to align expectations and drive financial impact.
- Proactively engage in areas outside of your own area/field and contribute to the bigger picture.
- May lead small project teams and be able to drive cross-functional projects within, as well as outside of core responsibilities.
- Support and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and training to build financial capabilities across the organization.
- Is proficient in using advanced financial tools and systems, streamlining processes for efficiency.
- Can independently handle complex data analysis tasks, providing valuable insights into financial performance, e.g. building efficient modelling.
- Proactively seek new tools and ways of working, and is able to drive change through structured approach and stakeholder management
- Share knowledge and best practices and communicates them outside own team.
- Works independently, with guidance only in the most complex situations.
- Have higher education (Bachelor's or Master's level) and minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in finance, business controlling, or similar, with documented results.
- Is proficient in spoken and written English, fluent in Norwegian and resides in Norway.
