Hydro Aluminium Metal, a leading supplier of aluminium products with a global production network of nearly 7,000 employees. With primary metal production facilities in Europe, Canada, Brazil, Australia and Qatar, and recycling facilities throughout Europe and in the U.S., two-thirds of our primary aluminum production is based on renewable energy.Recycling is a high-growth area for the future, fitting perfectly with the megatrend towards a circular, more sustainable and low-carbon economy. In Hydro, Recycling is one of the strategic growth pillars with ambitious targets in use of post-consumer scrap in our production of green high-quality products. Business unit Recycling operates 12 recycling plants and a scrap sorting plant. We have recently completed and announced new investments in Europe and the US and are aiming for no less than industry leadership in aluminium recycling.The Finance team in Recycling is responsible for following up our existing operations and is a key driver for profitable recycling growth.
