Start Date: Immediate preferredJob Overview:Our client, a leading organization in the Oil & Gas sector, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in rotating equipment to support a major EPC tender. This is a critical role requiring an experienced professional who can contribute immediately and effectively. The contract is initially for 3 months, but there is a high likelihood of long-term extension based on project demands.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee mechanical engineering aspects related to rotating equipment for a major EPC tender.
- Provide technical expertise in the design, specification, and procurement of pumps, compressors, turbines, and other rotating equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Review and approve technical documentation, specifications, and drawings.
- Support cost estimation, risk assessments, and feasibility studies related to rotating equipment.
- Interface with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Extensive expertise in rotating equipment engineering, including design, selection, and analysis.
- Previous experience with reputed EPC companies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).
- Experience in EPC tendering, including bid preparation and technical evaluations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
