- Prepare monthly closing process and reporting
- Manage annual closing process, including inventory valuation and external audit
- Ensure VAT reporting, income tax filings, and compliance with statutory deadlines
- Develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts
- Produce regular financial reports (sales statistics, inventory, KPIs)
- Proactively provide management team insights for decision-making
- Monitor cash flow and liquidity; prepare forecasts and reports
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Ensure timely follow-up on overdue receivables and enforce collection policies
- Identify improvement opportunities in systems and processes.
- Personnel responsibility for 1 accounting staff
- Oversee payroll and employment contracts
- Act as ERP Key User for proALPHA (accounting and inventory)
- Contract management (real estate contracts, long-term lease contracts, etc.)
- University degree in business administration, finance, or accounting
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience from audit, accounting, controlling or similar roles
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
- Strong ERP and MS Excel skills
- Excellent communication skill
- Advanced financial analysis capabilities
- Fluent in Norwegian and English
