- Recommend technical input to Subsurface Managers
- Support Reservoir Engineering Functional Lead for OUN in:
- Internal Reserves Reporting
- Reserves Based Lending (RBL)
- Responsible for reservoir management, including well production monitoring and reservoir performance for OUN's producing assets
- Recommend reservoir engineering requirements to support Asset and Exploration managers
- Develop, maintain, and quality control reservoir models for all producing fields and developments
- Provide support to drilling activities, field development drilling plans, and field data gathering, and reservoir monitoring programs
- Formulate drainage strategies for fields in the development phase
- Act as company expert and provide insights for integrated field development planning
- Identify, mature, review, rank, and promote reservoir development projects based on cross-department input through the OUN opportunity hopper
- Define the technical scope of field, laboratory, and analytical work to be performed in-house, by third parties and/or by ORLEN Group
- Review and oversee subsurface data acquisition and quality control in areas such as fluid sampling, pressure monitoring, transient testing, and PVT analysis
- Mentor less experienced reservoir engineers in the Reservoir Engineering team
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, peers, and advisers. Participate in external meetings and industry events, and represent OUN as member in license committees and regulatory bodies, where appropriate
- Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant discipline is preferred
- 8+ years of development and reservoir engineering experience within an E&P Company
- Experience working on both operated and non-operated assets
- Experience working in license committees, with the ability to act as a company expert to influence decisions
- Relevant experience may compensate for a lack of formal education
- Fluency in English, both oral and written
- Expert knowledge of relevant reservoir engineering tools and software
- Deep understanding of technological advances and industry best practices in reservoir engineering
- Ability to influence in Full Economic Reviews
- Comprehensive expertise of all reservoir engineering disciplines involved in field appraisal, development and production (PVT, SCAL, well lift, well test analysis, well logging, hydraulic fracturing, well operations)
- Expert knowledge of production engineering, geology & commercial considerations including familiarity with Economic Reviews
- Well-established industry network
- Good analytical skills
- Proficient in IT and engineering software tools
- A team player with strong relationship-building skills across different disciplines
- A strong sense of responsibility and ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
