They help organisations see, understand, and act on their surroundings to protect people, business, and reputation in real-time.Job DescriptionAs a Hardware Engineer at Motorola Norway you are involved in all aspects of design, prototyping, test and manufacturing of our products.The position involves:Designing, reviewing and updating all aspects of the electronics in our productsBeing part of our core hardware team working closely with all other disciplinesCollaboration with manufacturing and sub-suppliersHardware testing, troubleshooting and qualificationExamining and experimenting with use cases, test setups and new technologiesTogether with our video security department, you will get the opportunity to shape our security solution.Basic RequirementsYou are not expected to have all of the following skills, but they will be useful in performing your job.We are looking for someone who is:Passionate about technology and hardware product developmentEnjoys building, tinkering and working with their handsHas good analytical and problem-solving skills.Is enthusiastic, flexible and with a desire to learnLike to take things apart in order to understand how they workIs proficient in EnglishIt is also considered a bonus if you:Understand schematic design and CAD PCB layout.Interested in scripting and low-level programming.Have experience with cameras or sensors.We think you could be a good fit if you are a team player who thinks holistically, enjoys solving complex problems and thrives working independently, while not afraid to ask for input and learn from your teammates if you are stuck.All experience levels will be considered.Does this sound like you?
