E&I Inspector - Freelance/Resident

• Perform inspection and quality assurance on electrical and instrumentation components at the supplier's premises.

• Review and verify electrical schematics, general arrangement drawings (GAD), and wiring diagrams.

• Ensure compliance with client specifications, international codes, and project requirements.

• Monitor the manufacturing process, conduct final inspections, and review documentation including test reports and material certificates.

• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and ensure traceability and documentation compliance.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent diploma from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years' direct experience in quality inspection activities in the oil & gas or industrial sectors.
• At least 10 years of combined experience in electrical and instrumentation inspection.
• Strong knowledge of inspection processes, documentation review, and instrumentation/electrical systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents in English.
• Certified Ex Inspector (e.g., COMPEX or IECEx CoPC certified by an approved third-party)
• Certification or training in IEC 60079 series standards (preferably IEC 60079-14 and IEC 60079-17)
