Location: Melkøya, HammerfestAssignment DescriptionThe Snøhvit Future project consists of onshore compression and electrification of Hammerfest LNG at Melkøya.Onshore compression will help maintain peak production when the pressure in the reservoirs is reduced, while electrification with power from the mainland will remove significant greenhouse gas emissions from the gas turbines that currently power the plant.Three large modules will be installed at the facility: compressor, transformer station, and electrode steam boilers, and extensive modification work will also be carried out.A tunnel is now being constructed to carry power cables from Hyggevatn to Meland.From Meland, sea cables will be installed over to Melkøya.The electrification of Hammerfest LNG triggers the need for more power to the Melkøya facility. On this basis, Statnett has started the construction of a new 420 kV power line from Skaidi to Hyggevatn.Each member of the construction organisation is responsible for the quality of his/her own work in accordance with the requirements of the Project Manual and C&C Strategy and the documents referenced therein.Ensure that all fabrication and installation work has been performed according to the requirements of the project specifications, drawings and other contract documents. All specified tests and inspections are carried out and documented in a uniform way.The installation is ready for transfer to the Commissioning Team:Main area of responsibility shall be agreed with project task manager.Deliveries shall be according to client management system deliverables relevant to role.Ensure all work performed in construction is made in full compliance with client safety regulationsFollow up manning of the project Mechanical Completion (MC) Group with necessary recoursesPlanning of MC activities in the projectLead and coordinate HandoversEnsure preparation MC manual or guideline is established and integrated in the projectAgreed upcoming activities such as inspections, testing and punch-out. And follow up that the MC verification matrix is developedFollow up defined MC packagesEnsure defining of MC and Preservation Scope for Suppliers and Contractor within Commissioning boundariesControl, coordinate and update of ProCoSys statusFollow up of MC activities at suppliers and onshoreEnsure checking all MCCR's and MCC`s returned from Suppliers and Contractor including Punch ListsMonitor and coordinate all Company Provided Item (CPI) deliveries emphasize on Site Needed Date (SND) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)Multidiscipline MC coordinator with focus on Schedule and Hand over (HO).
