Join the Circle K eMobility team, a scale-up division with global ambitions, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of electric mobility."We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Bid Manager to lead the development and execution of our international and national eMobility tenders across Europe. This role is a fantastic opportunity to drive growth and increase our market share. Circle K’s ambition is to make charging as easy as possible for our customers across Europe.Circle K is heavily invested in the future electric vehicle (EV) sector and has, for several years, been expanding a large charging network for electric vehicles. For this initiative, we have established a dedicated unit – the eMobility team – that continuously works to develop and offer the best charging solutions for both existing and new EV drivers. The team aims to simplify and make e-mobility accessible, working on both the brand and customer experience. Together, we intend to create world-class charging experiences for our customers. The market for electric vehicles is rapidly growing, and there is now a targeted effort to provide charging solutions for all of Europe. The eMobility team functions as a central competence center.The role as Bid Manager sits within the eMobility Sales & Marketing function. eMobility Sales & Marketing consists of three teams: eMobility Marketing, eMobility Sales Enablement and eMobility Commercial Development. The eMobility Commercial Development team, where the bid function will be located, is a newly formed team with the aim to increase our EV market share by supporting our colleagues in the European countries with execution and development of our eMobility tenders and public funding.Key responsibilities include:Strategy & Roadmap
  • Devise and implement a robust tender strategy in alignment with the goals of eMobility and Circle K.
  • Manage the development of internal resources within the Commercial Development team.
  • Maintain a comprehensive roadmap of European tenders, facilitating cross-functional communication to bolster our tendering efforts.
  • Ensure Circle K's active engagement, awareness, and utilization of European public funding opportunities.
Process Optimization
  • Support and empower Circle K business units in navigating local eMobility tenders.
  • Standardize tender processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conduct thorough business case analysis for new ventures and existing operations.
Development & Improvement
  • Ensure insight and information sharing in market trends and needs within the eMobility sector.
  • Collaborate with product development to align our offerings with market demands.
  • Share insights and best practices across business units to elevate our tendering prowess and local market expertise.
You have:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field
  • Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in bid management. While experience across various sectors is valued, a keen understanding of the international eMobility landscape will be highly regarded, reflecting a strong alignment with our strategic focus and objectives
  • Exhibits excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate strategies and operationalize standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Proficient in financial analysis and project management
