As a hardware engineer at Tive, your responsibilities will include:Write design and test specifications for our productsActively contribute to device design through schematic design and reviewsSelect and qualify electronic components based on performance, cost, and availabilityReview mechanical designs and provide input on the look, feel, and real-world handling of our devicesWork closely with external design and fabrication partners to ensure product performance and qualityHelp develop and refine our internal workflows, tooling and processesAssist our manufacturing teams with production testingMaintain our internal PLM system, keeping it up to date with new developmentsWork with firmware teams to align hardware and firmware featuresCollaborate with production partners around the globe. Some international travel is to be expected Our ideal candidate has:BS/MS in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field3+ years of professional experience in hardware developmentSolid understanding of electronics and components, ideally low-power and LTE-based designsExperience developing production-scale products (
