Human Resources Manager - AI Datacenter - Norway
- Tydal, Trøndelag
- Fast
- Fulltid
- Own Bitdeer Norway's HSE/HMS framework across our Norwegian data centers, including two operational sites and the new AI/HPC facility under construction.
- Develop and maintain the HMS management system, ensuring policies, risk assessments (SJA), and emergency plans comply with both Norwegian legislation (Arbeidsmiljøloven) and Bitdeer global standards.
- Lead risk management and incident investigations: Conduct job safety analyses for high-risk tasks (electrical, hot work, heights) and drive root-cause analysis for any deviations.
- Project & Construction Support: Act as the HSE representative for the AI data center project, collaborating with SHA-coordinators and contractors to ensure a safe transition from construction to live operations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary contact for authorities (Arbeidstilsynet) and lead internal safety forums, working closely with Verneombud and the AMU.
- End-to-End HR Support: Act as the local HR point of contact for employees and managers in Norway, handling everything from contract management and onboarding to offboarding.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Support hiring managers in scaling the Norwegian team, including job postings, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews for both technical and administrative roles.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Foster a positive work environment by providing guidance on Norwegian labor law, managing employee grievances, and driving initiatives that improve employee engagement and well-being.
- Training & Development: Beyond safety training, coordinate general professional development programs and maintain the local skills matrix.
- HR Administration & Compliance: Ensure HR data integrity in our systems and ensure all local personnel policies are up-to-date and aligned with Norwegian labor regulations.
- You have a solid background (5+ years) in HSE within technical/industrial environments (Data Centers, Energy, Construction), but you also have experience or a strong interest in HR Generalist functions.
- Legal Expertise: You have a deep understanding of Arbeidsmiljøloven and Internkontroll, and you can apply these rules practically to both physical safety and the psychosocial work environment.
- Communication: You are fluent in Norwegian and English. You can write a technical HMS procedure in the morning and lead an English-speaking HR workshop in the afternoon.
- Hands-on & Approachable: You are just as comfortable in PPE doing a site walk-through as you are sitting down with a manager to discuss team performance or recruitment strategy.
- Relationship Builder: You excel at building trust across the organization-from electricians and contractors to international leadership and HR colleagues.
- Problem Solver: You thrive in fast-paced, international environments. You don't just "follow" processes; you enjoy building them from the ground up as we scale our Norwegian operations.
- Education: A degree in HSE, HR, Business Administration, or Engineering is preferred. A combination of relevant experience and a "people-first" mindset is the most important factor.
- A culture that values authenticity and diverse perspectives.
