In this role you will be responsible for:
- Advise and challenge managers to drive business performance, organizational effectiveness, and people development.
- Act as a trusted partner to leaders, constructively challenging decisions with focus on people impact and business objectives.
- Support leaders in day-to-day employee relations, ensuring fair, compliant, and balanced case handling.
- Drive and support organizational change initiatives with structured and compliant processes.
- Guide managers in applying labor law, collective agreements, internal policies, and HR frameworks consistently.
- Maintain constructive dialogue with labor unions and employee representatives, including leading local salary negotiations.
- Facilitate key HR processes such as engagement follow-up, succession planning, and performance development.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends, advise on root causes, and recommend actions that strengthen organizational performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field is required; a Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with several years in a similar broad HR role or HR Business Partner position. Candidates with less experience but strong potential and proven performance in HR roles will also be considered.
- Good working knowledge of individual and collective labor law, with experience working with labor unions and conducting local salary negotiations
- Proven experience in organizational change and leading restructuring processes
- Experience with core HR processes including engagement surveys, succession planning, and performance development
- Ability to analyse and interpret HR data, generate actionable insights, and use a well-developed business mindset to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions in collaboration with managers
- Ability to take an objective and holistic perspective, considering organizational, people, and business implications when advising managers and supporting decision-making
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, challenge constructively, and influence at all levels
- Ability to operate in an operational environment while maintaining a strategic perspective
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English
