The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.Aker Solutions is now looking for an Electrical Steel Engineer with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Stord.Start-up after summer.Position Responsibilities:

Design verification.
Verify engineering and vendor-documentation and give feedback to suppliers on lack of information and discrepancies.
Responsible for all electro steel.
Interface towards IT/IS related to engineering register, 3D/ Navis and MIPS.
Interface against all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production and planning department.
Design verification and control of 3-D design for electro steel.
Verify design of starter bars.
Ensure that the building method is implemented in the EIT shop eng.
Divide up work packages so that one gets the best efficiency in the production.
Verify the location and installation and HSSE friendly design in the 3Dmodel, PDMS.
Responsible for the preparation of work packages for cable ladders and electro steel.
Follow up the DCN's so that these are implemented in the work packages.
Verify interface against all disciplines (EIT, piping, structure, civil, HVAC, etc.), suppliers, subcontractors, production and planning department.
Continually strive for good HSSE performance throughout the work.

Skills and Levels Description:

Preferably certificate of apprenticeship in Electro.
Knowledge to and experience with the DAK-tool and have general good knowledge to basic computing.
Must have valid FSEL course, First aid (practical) and EX course.
Knowledge with the “as-built”-drawing and mechanic interface-drawing.
Skilled in MS Office 365 (MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Planner, MS Power BI, MS Teams, MS SharePoint).
Good knowledge of MIPS and E3D.
Good communication skills in English and any Scandinavian language, both verbally and written language.
