Run what runs the world.This Position reports to: R&D Team LeadSenior Project Engineer – Power Production & DistributionReady to help modernize the future of marine vessels with ABB power systems?Join ABB Marine & Ports and help modernize the future of marine power systems.We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Engineer with expertise in power production and distribution to join our Electrical Solutions team. This role will primarily work on projects with AC distribution systems.Location: Fornebu or Ulsteinvik, NorwayYour Responsibilities

Dimension and design of AC Swichboards, protection relay logic, generators and AVR.
Coordinate with shipyards, shipowners, classification societies, ABB factories, and subcontractors
Ensure technical quality and compliance throughout project deliveries
Provide technical support during commissioning phases.
Travel occasionally to customer sites, suppliers, and shipyards

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power system design
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering—or relevant experience as a ship electrician.
Strong understanding of power system dynamics, generators, protection relays, and switchboards
Ability to combine practical skills with theoretical knowledge
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
