Head of SEB Asset Management | OsloJoin SEB Asset Management as the Branch Manager of the newly established Oslo Branch, where you lead the build-up of the team and the launch of the Branch.SEB Asset Management is one of the leading full range asset managers in the Nordic region, managing products across all asset classes, ranging from equities and fixed income to private equity, real estate and infrastructure distributed to private individuals, financial institutions and corporates with operations in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Luxembourg. Please see for more information.About the roleSEB Asset Management is about to launch a new branch in Oslo Branch which will include institutional sales, third party distribution and portfolio management of local asset classes. As its manager, your initial task will be to recruit a team of professionals in both sales and portfolio management as well as setting a growth strategy. You will also play a vital role within the global management team, and report to the head of SEB Asset Management as well as to the Country Head of Norway.Your responsibilities will include being involved in key customer discussions, leading the Branch's daily operations, creating and implementing the business plan, participating in product development and ensuring growth and long-term profitability. Additionally, you will also ensure that the Branch's activities comply with local laws and regulations. Collaboration with other parts of the SEB Asset Management organization and the broader bank is essential for success in this role. Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on developing and empowering teams.

Previous experience from the Norwegian asset management industry with a broad network in the different client segments

Strategic mindset with good communication and presentation skills.

A high level of integrity and sense of personal responsibility.

A positive and flexible mind-set with an ability to adjust.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and implement new ways of working to drive business objectives.

University degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Economics/Engineering.

Fluency in at least one Scandinavian language as well as English
