This is a key role with the ownership of store performance, customer experience, and team development.
Your area of work
- Managing the store in line with the New Yorker concept
- Driving sales and turnover through strong commercial execution
- Owning the day to day operations and ensuring a smooth customer focused store flow
- Following-up on KPIs and turning insights into clear actions on the floor
- Leading, motivating and inspiring your team to perform and grow
- Training and coaching employees, supporting continuous development and engagement
- Workforce planning and creating shift schedules that match customer flow and business needs
- Recruiting and onboarding additional team members when needed
- Handling personnel and sales administration with accuracy and structure
- Cooperating closely with other departments in a team oriented New Yorker
- Strong retail management experience, with the ability to run a high performing store
- At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail with a proven track record in sales
- Experience in people and sales administration, ideally including financial responsibility
- Completed secondary education and preferably further education in management, finance and/or commerce and fashion
- Strong fashion awareness and trend sense, ideally supported by experience from the fashion industry
- Commercially minded with hands on experience driving costs and profitability
- Your leadership style is defined by clarity and energy, with a strong coaching mindset that helps teams grow, deliver results and stay motivated
- You communicate with confidence: clear, engaging and open to input and feedback
- Structured, self driven, you stay highly organized in a fast moving environment
- Committed and collaborative, you have a talent for building strong partnerships across the business
- Fluent in Norwegian, confident in English and German is an advantage
- In depth Excel knowledge, using data to support decisions and performance follow up
