- Strategy | Develop and execute comprehensive brand marketing and communication strategies aligned with Orkla House Care's strategic objectives. Identify target audiences and create appropriate plans and initiatives to engage with them through the most relevant traditional and digital channels. Collaborate with Commercial leaders to ensure local execution activities ensure consistency in brand messaging and achieve Marketing objectives according to the market plans. Engage with Product & Category leadership to ensure product offerings continue to deliver on brand propositions and align on branding decisions for new products.
- Brand Development | Take full ownership of the Orkla House Care brand portfolio to drive brand presence in all markets. Ensure brand guardrails are maintained and adhered to across all marketing materials and communications. Manage brand positioning to drive competitive advantage and ensure messaging strategies clearly translate the brands' positioning to their target audiences. Monitor and manage Orkla House Care brands' reputation ensuring optimal content continuously drives reach and traffic across all channels and touchpoints. Use data driven insights to refine strategies and inform decisions, including exit strategies if relevant.
- Campaign Management | Spearhead the development of end-user centric activities through clear understanding of target audiences, communication channels and competitor marketing activities. Plan, execute and evaluate events, campaigns and promotional programmes to drive end-user engagement and sales. Leverage traditional and digital channels to drive performance and maximise ROI. Use analytics and KPIs to track performance against goals and enable decision making for future campaign development.
- Digital Channel Management | Develop a clear digital channel strategy, identifying and executing plans to drive growth in pure-play, omni-channel and marketplace environments. Oversee Orkla House Care's online presence across different platforms and lead SEO and SEM strategies to improve organic search rankings to increase traffic and conversion. Manage and optimise websites, social media channels and other digital assets and ensure common development and processes are followed across all markets.
- Continuous Improvement | Evaluate the structure, processes and competences to ensure the Marketing function is set up to allow for optimum performance. Evolve brand and digital marketing assets to improve business results. Continuously gather and share end-user led insight and intelligence to enable an outside-in mindset. Foster a culture of delivering customer satisfaction to achieve sustainable growth.
- Performance Measurement | Establish tracking, reporting and corrective action methodologies to ensure Marketing teams can share performance updates. Agree, implement, and track appropriate functional KPIs to measure the success of Orkla House Care's brand and digital marketing initiatives.
- Business Degree in Business, Marketing or related field; Master level preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Director or equivalent in a Branded Goods company
- Ability to blend strategic thinking with a “hands-on” approach to developing plans and enabling execution.
- Excellent understanding of marketing methodologies, processes and tools and proven experience of how to translate these into executable plans to drive business performance.
- Demonstrable experience of working with digital and performance marketing
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights then into actionable strategies and plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Ability to operate within a matrix environment and lead teams in different markets.
