What does a workday look like for a Field Service Technician?You will not be stuck fighting slow computers or unreliable coffee machines. Instead, much of your time will be spent on the road, traveling through Norway's fjords, mountains and coastlines. You will shape your own workday, meet skilled colleagues across different sites, and step into environments that change from day to day. Sometimes you will even end up in places you never expected, simply because the job took you there.You will also be a part of the Nordics Service Center, working closely with colleagues in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Our portfolio includes automatic ferry charging systems and automatic mooring machines from Bergen to Trondheim. These solutions keep daily transport moving safely, efficiently, and in one of the most environmentally friendly way possible.In this role, you will embark on the following tasks:Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repairs on machines/equipment at customers' premisesProvide great customer service and build good relationships, both on-site and over the phoneProvide good collaboration with your team of other technicians, engineers and project managers, especially when a case needs extra supportDocument the work and submit reports for each assignmentFollow safety requirements and report concernsIdentify the right spare partsContribute to achieving Cavotec's service goals, including through good customer follow-upWe are looking for you who have experience with mechanics and/or electrical and PLC. We hope you have the ability to perform operational planning and have an understanding of technical drawings. In addition, this role requires a lot of work with customers, and it is therefore important that you have a strong customer focus.As a person, we are looking for someone who is solution-oriented and collaborates well with others. We need you to take responsibility and follow up on cases and customers, and the ability to take the initiative. You should also be flexible and adaptable.
