We are now looking for a Service Engineer / Superintendentto join our team.The location for the position is in Stord , Norway. What you will be doingIn this position you will perform and- or lead work related to testing, commissioning, service/troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical and automation systems as well as preparing reports and documentation, for our customers worldwide. This position will require traveling since the majority of assignments will be at site-on board customers installations. The position is organized in a 4 weeks on- 4 weeks off rotation.As a company, we focus on our customers' needs and satisfaction, which means we set high standards for quality and productivity. Therefore, you must have the skills needed to interact with our customers, partners, and colleagues. Our preferred candidate should also have the ability to make decisions, work independently, and be service-minded. Additionally, you need to be structured, understand problems, and be able to solve them.The title for the position will be Service Engineer or Superintendent based on the chosen candidate's experience. To be successful in this role we expect you to have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Automation or Technical School in the fieldVocational certificates within the field and/or documented and relevant experience can compensate for formal educationGood knowledge of PMS/EMS (Power/Energy Management System), battery systems, frequency converters, electrical switchboards PLSs and HMI systemsExperience working with Wärtsilä's products and systems is an advantageExperience related to start-up and maintenance of electro-automation systems both offshore and on marine installationsExperience with the preparation of reports and documentationExperience with international work and travel activity Requirements:Eligible for health declaration offshore and for seafarersGood Norwegian and English knowledge both written and verballyNorwegian driver's licenseResidence in Norway Why you and us?We at Wärtsilä believe in empowerment, ownership and taking responsibility of our work.
