You will define architectural direction, drive technical consistency across teams, and ensure our platform scales securely and sustainably as we grow.You will work closely with the CTPO, Tech Leads, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Commercial.Your responsibilities will includeResponsibility for the overall system architecture. Ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security across services and integrations.Own the end-to-end architecture of a distributed SaaS platformDefine and evolve architectural principles, standards, and integration patternsTranslate business and product requirements into scalable technical designsLead architectural reviews and validate solution designs across teamsGuide engineering teams on system design, trade-offs, and long-term implicationsEnsure consistency across APIs, data models, services, and infrastructureContribute to architectural roadmap planning and technical strategyAct as a technical advisor in customer and partner discussionsSupport pre-sales activities with architectural insight and documentationContinuously evaluate emerging technologies in cloud, data, and IoT domainsYou will have decision-making authority within the agreed architectural scope, escalating decisions that significantly impact time, cost, or scope.We operate in a modern cloud-native environment and are continuously evolving our architecture. You should be comfortable working with:Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Distributed systems and service-based architecturesAPI-first design and integration-heavy ecosystemsData-driven architectures and event-based patternsDevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-codeScalability, high availability, and SLA-driven environmentsSecurity best practices in multi-tenant SaaS systemsExperience in IoT, data platforms, or agriculture technology is a plus, but not required.We are looking for someone who has7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or architecture rolesBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Proven experience designing complex distributed systems in SaaS or product environmentsStrong expertise in cloud-native architectureExperience with system integrations and external partner ecosystemsA deep understanding of architectural trade-offs (cost vs. scalability vs. time-to-market)Experience contributing to commercial discussions or technical pre-salesHow you work and personal qualitiesYou are responsible and curious in your work and live out MIMIRO's values.
