This position will play a crucial role within the CHC Operations Control Centre (OCC) and report directly to the Contract Operations Manager (COM).CHC has entered an exciting, long-term partnership with Aker BP for helicopter services across several bases and helicopter types, and we see the need to strengthen our team. This role will be key to further develop this partnership on an operational level and will be working with several stakeholders within CHC and Aker BP.Key ResponsibilitiesThe OCC is responsible for, but not limited to, coordinating the day-to-day operation of our onshore- and offshore bases including:
- Coordinate and prioritize customer interactions effectively
- Planning, execution, supervision and control of the daily flight program
- Cross-department coordination as relevant
- Billing control
- Crew cost control
- Tracking delays, penalties and buyback
- The OCC is led by the Operations Supervisor
- Bridging communication between OCC and Aker BP Logistics Centre in day-to-day tasks
- Be a champion for relevant initiatives and developments in the partnership between CHC and Aker BP
- Proactively contribute to the planning of daily flight programs
- Take active part in long-term planning of resources in relation to Aker BPs volume prognosis
- Good understanding of Aker BP contracts and requirements, as relevant to OCC
- Actively participate in operations review meetings with Aker BP
- Support OCC desk controllers daytime if/when required and as agreed with Operations Supervisor
- Support continuous improvement initiatives relevant to OCC
- Higher relevant education
- 5 years’ experience from logistics operations or other relevant experience
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in both Norwegian and English
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a hectic environment
- Strong computer skills in basic MS Office applications
