We are always on the lookout for future-oriented talent - want to join the ride?We are always on the lookout for a talent with a growth mindset - are you the one?We are looking for a Project Engineer with a main responsibility in control systems.The preferred location for this position is Stord, Norway.Your role and responsibilitiesWärtsilä aims to support our customers on their decarbonisation journey towards a more sustainable future in the marine and energy industry and has committed to finding solutions enabling the use of zero-carbon fuel before 2030.We offer both conventional propulsion systems, as well as advanced battery and hybrid systems for zero-emission fuels. We are now looking to strengthen our team working with control systems for these types of systems by hiring a new Project Engineer.Our preferred candidate is curious about new technology and wants to join us on our decarbonisation journey. You will be working in a team with broad experience and competence in electricity, electro, and control systems. In this environment, you will be given opportunities for personal and professional growth in an advancing industry.Requirements for the position:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent within electro/control systems
  • Knowledge of maritime systems
  • Programming of HMI and PLC systems
  • Data networks and cyber security
  • Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Works systematically with high quality in mind.
