About the positionDo you have experience in software development, are eager to extend your skills through developing the next generation of maritime edge informationdelivery systems in a company with cutting edge technology and a global impact?As a senior software developer in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented people with a passionate interest in software design.One of the products is SDK for ECDIS which are the main, navigational deviceson commercial vessels. The SDK components are used mainly to read, display andanalyze maritime charts. Another product is NavStation which is a maritimeroute planning tool where the user can add and visualize different data layersdependent on the planning purposes.
These overlays in NavStation are ranging from weather data to environmentalregulations, passage planning and much more enabling compliance, efficiency anddecision making both in real-time operations and long term strategy.

SDK and NavStation development
Implementation of new features and components
Participation in scrum and agile development
Collaboration across teams
Participate in continuous process redesign to build a high performing culture

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial software development experience using C++ and Qt

• Experience with SQL
• Experience with API based systems integration
• Experience with unit-testing

Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus
Experience with CI/CD tools is a plus

• Experience with Docker and Linux application development is a plus
• Well traversed in Agile methodologies and DevOps based workflows

Excellent organizational and structural skills
Speak and write English fluently
Relevant education at unsiversity level or equivalent
