- Designing and developing electrical control systems for offshore and subsea support equipment
- Preparing and maintaining electrical schematics and documentation
- Engineering and providing lifecycle support for systems such as:
- IWOCS (Intervention Workover Control Systems)
- Production Hydraulic Power Units (HPU)
- Reeler systems
- Test & Flush HPU units
- Applying experience and knowledge of electrical design according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, IEC, and EN
- Ensuring designs comply with requirements for hazardous area equipment (Ex) according to ATEX and IECEx standards
- Supporting projects from concept and design through manufacturing, testing, and commissioning
- Collaborating with global engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related discipline. Other relevant experience can compensate for lacking formal education.
- Have experience with electrical control system design
- Be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
- Preferred to have knowledge of hazardous area equipment (Ex) and relevant standards (ATEX / IECEx)
- Desired to have experience using EPLAN for electrical schematics
- Preferred familiarity with AutoCAD, considered an advantage
- Desired experience with Teamcenter or similar document management systems
- Preferred completion of FSE course in high and low voltage, with practical first aid training
- Desired ability to communicate fluently in Norwegian, both orally and in writing
- Preferred to have a structured and detail‑oriented approach to engineering work
- Desired ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
- Preferred problem‑solving mindset with strong technical curiosity
