What does the job involve?As Assistant Department Manager, you'll be the right hand of the Department Manager and a key part of the daily operations. You'll help create a positive workplace, support the development of your colleagues, and ensure the team delivers top-notch customer service and strong results.Key responsibilities:
  • Support the Department Manager with operations, personnel management, and follow-up
  • Contribute to a motivating and inclusive work environment
  • Help maintain high standards in service, food, and customer experience
  • Handle daily challenges and solve problems during shifts
  • Delegate tasks and follow up with team members
  • Assist with ordering goods and managing stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards (HSE and food safety)
  • Participate in training new employees
Who are we looking for?You don't need to be a “fully trained manager” - we're looking for someone eager to grow and take on responsibility! Maybe you have experience as a shift leader, team leader, or store manager? Or perhaps you've worked in the service industry and are ready for the next step?PS: Due to the security rules at the airport, you must provide a certificate from the police.You also must have lived continuously in an EEA/EU country for the past 5 years or be a citizen of an EEA/EU country to work here.
