Zalaris is looking for Key Account Managers who combine excellent customer partnership skills with a proactive commercial mindset to drive growth within our HR & Payroll Managed Services portfolio.As a Key Account Manager at Zalaris, you take responsibility for the full customer lifecycle - from onboarding handover through ongoing collaboration and renewal.
You act as a trusted partner for HR leaders, ensuring high-quality service delivery and spotting opportunities for improvement and upsell.You will work closely with our Service Delivery teams, HR specialists, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure customers receive consistent value and a seamless experience across all touchpoints.Your Responsibilities
- Manage key customer relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the contract lifecycle
- Lead renewals, upsell, cross-sale, and expansion opportunities
- Facilitate regular governance and operational meetings to ensure alignment and execution
- Act as the main point of contact for your customers, providing guidance and support
- Identify issues, improvement areas, and business opportunities that deliver measurable customer value
- Develop opportunities and maintain an active, healthy commercial pipeline
- Champion customer needs internally and coordinate across the matrix organization to drive outcomes
- Experience as a key account manager in complex or international environments
- Strong commercial mindset with proven success in upsell, renewals, and account development
- Fluent in English and the Nordic language of your primary market
- Understanding of HRM services such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Workforce Management, Travel & Expense, or HCM platforms (Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle)
- Experience with Managed Services or Outsourcing (multi-country experience is a plus)
- Ability to communicate confidently with senior HR stakeholders
- Strong analytical and advisory abilities - able to structure issues and build customer-focused recommendations
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented attitude with ownership for customer success
- Bonus: Experience from management consulting and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems, Power BI, or AI tools
