Location: Remote (Contract Role, Norway-Based Projects)We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer with a strong background in control systems to support offshore and onshore energy projects. This is a contract position with flexibility for remote work, supporting a Norway-based engineering team.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain control narratives and functional descriptions for various systemsPrepare and manage I/O lists, Cause & Effect (C&E) matrices, and interface documentationContribute to the development and integration of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS)Ensure technical documentation aligns with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirementsCollaborate with multi discipline teams to ensure proper system functionality and integrationReview vendor documentation and provide input on system control strategiesSupport testing, commissioning, and verification activities where applicableRequirements:Solid experience working with control systems in the energy, oil and gas, or maritime sectorsProficient in developing control narratives, I/O lists, and C&E diagramsFamiliarity with ICSS and interfacing requirementsStrong documentation and technical writing skillsAbility to work independently and communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary environmentPrior experience supporting projects remotely is a plusContract Details:Contract-based engagementRemote work acceptedCompetitive day rate, based on experienceIf you're an experienced control systems engineer looking for a flexible contract role supporting technically challenging projects, we'd like to hear from you.
