About the roleYou'll be part of our merchant domain. We work across the full merchant experience - from high-traffic purchase moments where speed and simplicity are critical, to market-facing products and tools that help businesses get started, manage their setup, and improve their performance over time.We're also exploring how emerging patterns like automation and agent-driven experiences are reshaping commerce, and what that means for how we design products going forward.You'll work on some of our most important user journeys. Small improvements can have a real impact on conversion, usability, and business outcomes.As a designer at Vipps MobilePay, you'll also be part of a strong design community working closely with product and engineering to continuously improve experiences used by millions. It should be fun to build products used by millions of people every day! What you'll do
- Improve user journeys with clear impact on usage, conversion, and business outcome
- Identify and help define the right problems to solve, working closely with product, engineering, and data
- Use insights and data to identify friction and opportunities
- Explore, prototype, and iterate on solutions together with your team
- Design flows across surfaces (app, web, integrations) and complex use cases
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and data to design experiences powered by data, automation, and AI
- Have at least 3 years of experience in relevant UX / product design
- Understand how design decisions impact conversion and business outcomes
- Are pragmatic, take ownership, and get things out the door
- Are curious, driven, and motivated to become really good at what you do
- Thrive in an environment where things move fast and direction isn't always fully defined
- Speak up, challenge decisions, and push for what's right for users and the business
- Are excited about a future where designers work closely with AI --- and actively explore how that changes how we design, prototype, and build product
