- Manage the mobilization of Project Delivery Systems according to the project schedule.
- Coordinate the initiation phase of project information systems.
- Ensure the timely delivery of relevant information to key project participants.
- Optimize systems, work processes, and software tools for efficient project execution.
- Coordinate various project delivery systems used by different departments and disciplines.
- Oversee CAD, Engineering Document Management (EDMS), Data Management Systems, Engineering Design Systems, Project Systems, and Information Management.
- Act as the focal point for iM services to meet project requirements.
- Provide a single point of contact for all project IT systems and services for project personnel, including the customer.
- Identify project information, data, hardware, network, and system needs.
- Produce applicable Project Information Management execution and implementation plans and documents.
- Build and manage a competent team for Data Coordination, 3D Model coordination, Project Systems, EDMS support, and relevant Application support and development.
- Accountable for managing the systems administrators within the project team.
- Influence project execution strategy to take advantage of preferred systems and software tools.
- Ensure the whole project team understands, supports, and adheres to the Information Management strategy.
- Educate the team in Information Management requirements and the benefits to be gained.
- Ensure Information and document handover meets contractual requirements.
- Manage interface with applications Expert Users, Software Support, and relevant 3rd Parties.
- Ensure project awareness of procedures and policy related to systems is fully understood by all project participants.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science of Business is preferred
- Knowledge of the Engineering / Procurement / Construction (EPC) information lifecycle.
- Broad working knowledge of all related Information management disciplines including engineering design systems, data and document management systems, project systems (estimating, project controls, procurement, construction, commissioning systems and information technology with specific expertise in one or more of these disciplines.
- Have strong skills with PC hardware, Windows OS, MS Office 2010 or newer, and be able to operate in a networked environment
- Knowledge in ITIL process required and Certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide leadership in project execution
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in complex projects
