Head of Engineering - Oslo (Norwegian Required)
Tech: Backend (.NET + Microservices + Azure)
Industry: SaaSA leading SaaS company in Oslo is seeking a Head of Engineering to take ownership of their technical direction and guide the continued development of a scalable, cloud-based platform. This role is suited for an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in backend technologies and modern cloud architecture.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the engineering organisation, ensuring high technical standards and effective collaboration
  • Drive architectural decisions for a .NET and microservices-based backend platform
  • Oversee cloud-native development using Azure services
  • Contribute to long-term product strategy in partnership with product leadership
  • Ensure best practices across engineering, including CI/CD, security, reliability, and scalability
Tech Environment:
  • Backend: .NET / C#
  • Architecture: Microservices
  • Cloud: Azure
Requirements:
  • Strong leadership experience within software engineering
  • Deep technical expertise in .NET, microservices, and cloud-based architecture
  • Professional fluency in Norwegian
  • Experience building and scaling SaaS products is an advantage
