You will be part of a specialized team advising on the interpretation and application of IFRS® Accounting Standards globally across the Equinor group. The IFRS policy team focuses on complex accounting matters, business decision support, and high quality in external and internal reporting. The position involves close collaboration with key stakeholders across the business areas, the CFO function and management. The IFRS Policy team currently consists of 5 employees.What will my tasks be?Within this position, your key tasks will be to:Your role will be to support the Vice President for IFRS Accounting Policies/Chief Accountant with tasks mainly related to IFRS® Accounting Standards application across the company and assessment of complex accounting matters.The position will enable you to:Engage with key stakeholders across the company to advice on accounting policies and application.Share accounting expertise and assess the application of IFRS Accounting Standards to specific business cases.Be a key resource in the assessment and conclusion of complex accounting issues at the group level and development of accounting policies for the group.Contribute to the interim and annual reporting process, including related internal control procedures.Participate in accounting and reporting projects.Here's what we expect from you:At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential.
